VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Plans and thoughts of the foolish - ALL are sin.
"The plans of the foolish and the thought of foolishness are sin,"
2 Corinthians 10:5 (Amplified Bible)
10:5 [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
Matthew 15:19 (Amplified Bible)
15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts (reasonings and disputings and designs) such as murder, adultery, sexual vice, theft, false witnessing, slander, and irreverent speech.
Isaiah 55:7 (Amplified Bible)
55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon.
The thoughts of the foolish are hateful to GOD and it's also hateful to men. That's why we have the mind of CHRIST and advised to think on heavenly things not on physical.
1 Corinthians 2:16 (Amplified Bible)
2:16 For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.
Philippians 4:8 (Amplified Bible)
4:8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
Proverbs 4:23 (Amplified Bible)
4:23 Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.
Quotations:
Psalms 14:1 (Amplified Bible)
14:1 To the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David. THE [empty-headed] fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable deeds; there is none that does good or right.
The man who doesn't recognize a fool when he sees one is one himself. —Baltasar Gracian
—Phillips' Treasury of Humorous Quotations
You can always tell a fool, unless he's hiding inside you.
—Phillips' Treasury of Humorous Quotations
A fool empties his head every time he opens his mouth.

B. Scoffer - abomination to all mankind.
"and the scoffer is an abomination to men"
Scorner/Scoffer - one who laughs at another in contempt.
Proverbs 22:10 (Amplified Bible)
22:10 Drive out the scoffer, and contention will go out; yes, strife and abuse will cease.
Proverbs 29:8 (Amplified Bible)
29:8 Scoffers set a city afire [inflaming the minds of the people], but wise men turn away wrath.
Proverbs 14:9 (Amplified Bible)
14:9 Fools make a mock of sin and sin mocks the fools [who are its victims; a sin offering made by them only mocks them, bringing them disappointment and disfavor], but among the upright there is the favor of God.
I had a special connection with scorners/scoffers, they just lived around us, they are the squatters or so-called informal settlers which the government have called them but really they are scoffers/scorners pretending to be poor. They will never get to the conclusion that they need JESUS for when you teach or correct them all their response is a mockery or insult of what sin is.
IX. CONCLUSION:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for we have the mind of CHRIST that always focused on You.
