1 Peter 4:16-Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

We got to get back to the fundamentals!

I wish people was a fan of God, let me explain what I mean by that.

When somebody is a fan of football team.

It doesn't matter if the football team is winning or losing the fan, a true fan will stick with them!

No matter how long they have a winning streak or how long they have a losing streak, no matter what the circumstance they stick by their team!

If there's somebody on their team they don't like, maybe it's the coach or the quarterback or any player on the team, it doesn't stop them from attending the game, it doesn't stop them from supporting the team, it doesn't stop them from watching the team!

Now if somebody is a fan of God they're going to follow Him whether circumstances are good or whether circumstances are bad!

If they are fan of God they're going to attend church whether or not there somebody there they may not like!

Because they are loyal fan to God!

Here are some interesting facts to consider:

The name “Christian” was not invented by early Christians. It was a name given to them by others.

Christians called themselves by different names—disciples, believers, brethren, saints, the elect, etc.

The term apparently had a negative meaning in the beginning: “those belonging to the Christ or a follower of Jesus”

Over time a derogatory term became a positive designation.

What is a Christian?

I guarantee I get a number of different answers.

Someone would say, Christian is a good person.

A Christian is a church goer.

A Christian is someone who is baptized.

A Christian is someone from a Christian home.

A Christian is someone whose good outweighs their bad.

A Christian is someone who gives to the poor.

A Christian is a moral person,

A Christian is a religious person,

A Christian is a Bible believer.

A Christian is someone who simply has good intentions.

All of those are popular answers, and they have a ring of truth to it.

A Christian is someone who's been born again!

John 3:3-Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

A Christian is someone who's been washed in the blood!!

A Christian is someone who has been justified, sanctified and blood bought!

Revelation 1:5-And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Isaiah 1:18-Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

A Christian is someone whose sins have been forgiven!

Psalm 32:1-Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Romans 4:7-Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

A Christian is someone who has been saved by grace,

Ephesians 2:8-For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9-Not of works, lest any man should boast.

A Christian is someone who has God as their father!

Jesus as their Savior!

And the Holy Spirit as their guide!

Romans 8:15-For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

A Christian is someone whose name has been written down in the Lamb's book of life!

A Christian is someone who is a citizen of heaven and this world is temporary!

A Christian is someone who was heading towards hell one minute, and in the next minute heaven everlasting is their home!
