What would you do if you were sitting on a plane, talking on the street corner, riding on a bus, having your hair done and many other situations when the person next to you, asks for a reason….

1 Peter 3 1:15 GNV But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekness and reverence. Here is basic knowledge needed to get them started on the path of eternal live.

I. ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR LOST CONDITION.

- Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

II. BELIEVE THE GOSPEL.

- Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

- Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

III. REPENT OF YOUR SINS.

- Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

- Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

IV. RECEIVE CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOUR.

- John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

- John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

V. CONFESS HIM AS YOUR LORD.

- Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

- Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

THIS IS BASIC TRUTHS EVERY BELIEVER SHOULD HAVE WITH THE HOPE YOUR OWN PERSONAL TESTIMONY TO LEAD SOMEONE TO JESUS. BE READY ALWAYS WITH THE HOPE AND PROMISES!
