What does the blood of Jesus do? Many churches have drifted away form mentioning the blood of Jesus, many say it's not for today, or it's just a religious symbol, or it's not important any more. From God's Word, let's look at three major things the blood of Jesus does. What does the blood of Jesus do, (first, second, third) it:

1. Forgives.

What does the blood of Jesus do, first, it forgives, it forgives from all faults, it forgives from all failures, and it forgives from all misfortunes. Notice what 1 John 1:9 say's, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." What does the blood of Jesus do, first, it forgives.

2. Frees.

What does the blood of Jesus do, second, its able to set you frees us form bondage, it frees us from battles we may be going through, and it free us from a broken spirit. Ro 8:2 tell's us of the power the blood of Jesus has to break every chain in our life, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." What does the blood of Jesus do, its able to set you free, keep believing in the blood of Jesus!

3. Flows Today!

What does the blood of Jesus do, third, it flows today to meet every need you have, spiritual, physical, emotional - no matter the need - He is able! In Lk 22:20 Christ say's, "This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you." What does the blood of Jesus do, it flows for you today to meet every need in your life. There is power in the name of Jesus!
