What does the blood of Jesus do, some churches no longer sing about the blood, speak about the blood, and have taken down the cross so people won't see it and think about the bood of Jesus. What does the blood of Jesus do, (first,second,third), i:

1. Forgives.

What does the blood of Jesus do, it forgives, it forgive us of our faults, it forgives us of our failures, and it forgives us of our misfortunes. It say's in He 9:22 "without the shedding of blood is no remission" there is no remission of sin. So you can take the blood out of your songs, you can avoid saying anything about it, and you can take down the cross so people won't see it and think about it, but with the shedding of blood which Christ did at Calvary, there is no remission or forgiveness of sin.

2. Frees.

What does the blood of Jesus do, it sets us free so that the Holy Spirit can make us a person of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control, the fruit of the Spirit. In 1 John 1:7 we're told, "But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin." The only thing that can set us free to serve Christ is His blood. It will set you free!

3. Still Flows Today.

What does the blood of Jesus do, it still's flows to us today, to help us through every storm, to help us through every sorrow, and to help us through every situation in life. In Rev 12:11, we're told, "Any they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony;" What does theblood of Jesus do, it helps us to be an overcomer through every storm, sorrow, and situation in life. It still flows today!
