Summary: A biblical Perspective on dads
Ephesians 6:4
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Ephesians 1:5
He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will
Being a dad is a beautiful gift from God. God himself, in preparing and planning for the creation of the world, “predestined us for adoption…”
He knew he wanted us, he choose us. The Father heart of God speaks and reveals all we need to do and know about being a dad. We are not perfect but we can try. We will fail but we have grace. What does God ask of us? That we see our call as dads to instruct our children in God’s standards and statues, not ours.
