Summary: What we got because of Christmas is amazing we received salvation, hope, peace, love, and all Gods promises.

Every Christmas morning, children rush to the tree with one question on their lips: “What did I get?” Their eyes sparkle as they tear open wrapping paper, eager to see what’s inside.

But as believers, we ask a deeper question: “What did I get for Christmas?” Not from Santa, not from family—but from God Himself. The answer is far greater than toys, clothes, or gadgets. The true gift of Christmas is Jesus Christ. And because of Him, we receive blessings that last forever.

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”

Romans 6:23 – “…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Ephesians 2:8 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

• Unlike earthly gifts that break, fade, or get lost, salvation is indestructible. It is the one gift you’ll never outgrow.

• For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”

• He brings peace with God (Romans 5:1) and peace within our hearts.

• Think of a stormy sea suddenly calmed—this is what Jesus does in our lives.

• Emmanuel means “God with us” (Matthew 1:23).

• Jesus is not just a gift we receive once; He is the gift that walks with us daily.

• God Promises to give us rest “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
