What Can We Expect In The Future.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT IN THE FUTURE.

A number of things are very uncertain; there are a lot of things we can be sure of.

(1) Sin will increase every where.

2nd Timothy 3: 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Sin has become plleasant.

Public sin is no longer shame.

More and more people committed sin.

(2) Suffering for Christian witness.

Revelations 1: 9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Suffer for our faith in Gods word.

2nd Timothy 3: 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Suffer for your witness for Christ.

Suffer for your fight against wickedness.

(3) The Holy Scriptures shall be attacked

2nd Timothy 4: 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Change its meaning. Corrupt its message Condemn the Master

(4) Satan will wage all out war.

1st Peter 5: 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Deceive will be sensual.

Deny Gods holy word.

Destroy the sinner.

(5) Saints stay true to the word.

Trust its innspiration.

2nd Timothy 3: 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

True to the instructions in faith.

Hebrews 11: 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Indestructible in the future.

Matthew 24: 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

(6) Not many sinners will be saved.

Transfer Mortal to Immortal

Corruptible to Incorruptible.

Earth to Glory.

Tempter left behind
