VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Some who were standing there

"And some who were standing there said to them,"

It was not the owner of the colt that asked, but those who were just minding other's business.

John 21:23 (Amplified Bible)

21:23 So word went out among the brethren that this disciple was not going to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not going to die, but, If I want him to stay (survive, live) till I come, what is that to you?

John 21:23 (New Century Version)

21:23 So a story spread among the followers that this one would not die. But Jesus did not say he would not die. He only said, “If I want him to live until I come back, that is not your business.“

1 Thessalonians 4:11 (Amplified Bible)

4:11 To make it your ambition and definitely endeavor to live quietly and peacefully, to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we charged you,

Those who have nothing to do, and those who are not busy with life, asks a lot of questions. We have GOD's answers, it's better to ask GOD and get a lot of answers rather than asking people (natural man) who are also busy asking other people with questions.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (Amplified Bible)

2:14 But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.

B. Asked "Why are you doing this?"

"What are you doing, untying the colt? "

2 Timothy 3:7 (Amplified Bible)

3:7 [These weak women will listen to anybody who will teach them]; they are forever inquiring and getting information, but are never able to arrive at a recognition and knowledge of the Truth.

A scoffer will never find wisdom.

Proverbs 14:6 (Amplified Bible)

14:6 A scoffer seeks Wisdom in vain [for his very attitude blinds and deafens him to it], but knowledge is easy to him who [being teachable] understands.

Stick with GOD's Words and all our questions are answered thru CHRIST.

Ephesians 4:14 (Amplified Bible)

4:14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.

GOD wants us not just to learn and to know the answers to life but GOD wants us to apply the Truth (JESUS CHRIST) in our lives.

1 Timothy 2:4 (Amplified Bible)

2:4 Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth.

IX. CONCLUSION:

CHRIST JESUS remains in us, and we remain in Him.

Hebrews 13:8 (Amplified Bible)

13:8 Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).
