Summary: As we are caught up in today’s issues, we need to refocus our attention on what Jesus wants us to do with our time on Earth.

As we look at todays society and everything going on in it. There are a great number of distractions. War,Inflation,Gas Prices and the list goes on and on of evil people doing evil things. Babies are being aborted, pray is being removed from schools. Childern are killing people with no remorse. What God calls an Abomination is being pushed as acceptable. Christian people want to change things. They want society to be more Godly and people to do more Godly things. We don’t like the way people are moving away from God. Wickedness didn’t start last night it has been here from the beginning. We are going to look at how God has dealt with it in the past, and see what we should really be focused on. In Genesis 6 5,6 God looked down and saw that mankind was wicked and that evil was in every imagination of man. In Genesis 19 God has seen the evil that mankind has done in Sodom and Gomorrah. As we look at both of these examples keep in mind that God dealt with the evil ways of man. And keep in mind that he spared his people. Now to see what we should do with our time on Earth as Gods childern look at Matthew 28 18-20. Jesus is telling us to go forth and teach his word, he even says do it until the end of the world. He wants us to spend the GOOD NEWS and win lost souls to him. Look at John 4 35, Jesus says LOOK UP and see that the fields are white and ready for harvest. The fields are white and full of lost souls that can be won to the Lord. If we spend our time on worldly problems then Satan is winning because we are distracted from Gods work. Let God be God and let him deal with the evil problems of society. Let us spend our time on the Great Commission. Spend tommorrow doing what God would have you to do. LEAD THE LOST TO HIM. If we do that, everything else will take care of itself.
