1. A Sign of the Super-Natural.

What are tongues a sign of, tongues are a sign of the super-natural, notice Acts 2:2, 'And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a mighty rushing wind,". The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a sign of the super-natural that comes from heaven that's for every man, woman, and child today as it say's in Acts 2:4, "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance." What are tongues a sign of, tongues are a sign of the super-natural that comes from heaven.

2. A Sign of Surrender.

What are tongues a sign of, tongues are a sign of surrender, it's a work of faith, just as salvation, the resurrection, or the events in the Book of Revelation, although we not fully understand, or have it all figured out, or we can't find all the answers, if we surrender by faith to the Holy Spirit, he will fill us with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Notice Acts 1:7 & 8, "It is not r you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath in his own power. But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." What are tongues a sign of, tongues are a sign of surrender, that although we may not fully understand the times and seasons, if we believe by faith, we can be filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit!

3. A Sign of Spiritual Power.

What are tongues a sign of, tongues are a sign of spiritual power for God to use us in prayer-life to see the impossible made possible, to see the unmoveable be moved, and for God to make a way where there seems to be no way, as Christ told his disciples in Acts 1:8, "and ye shall be witnesses unto me". What are tongues a sign of, tongues are a sign of spiritual power in the prayers of God's people to see the impossible made possible, to see the unmoveable be moved, and for God to make a way where there seems to be no way.
