Summary: Some reasons given for why I’m not accepting Christ as my Savior and scripture responses.
Religion--
Jesus is the only way. John 14:6
?It’s not about religion. It’s about Jesus.
Confess and believe and you will be saved. Romans 10:9
I don't believe in Heaven--

The tree of life, the healing of the nations
No more curse
No sun needed, God is the light
I don't believe in Hell--

Matthew 13:41-42 Wailing and gnashing of teeth
It’s appointed for man once to die and after this the judgment. Hebrews 9: 27

Whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast in for life.
I'm good enough--
Isaiah 64:6 All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.
It is a gift of God, not of works. Ephesians 2:8-9
I'm not good enough--
No one is good enough.
No one deserves Heaven.
Isaiah 64:6 All our righteousness are as filthy rags.
It is a gift of God, not of works. Ephesians 2:8-9
God's gift is available to everyone, including YOU
The people in the churches are hypocrites. They are sinning—
No one is good enough.
No one deserves Heaven.
Isaiah 64:6 All our righteousness are as filthy rags.
It is a gift of God, not of works. Ephesians 2:8-9
God's gift is available to everyone, including YOU! Including THEM!!
I was hurt/rejected by the folks at church—
I’m sorry you were hurt. That isn’t how God wants us to treat each other.
You are welcome at our church. I know you will be welcomed and loved.
God might want you in the church to be that person who can show love and acceptance to those who visit.
God wants us to love Him and love one another. Matthew 22:35-40
I think I’m okay--
This is pretty important.
We are talking about eternity.
Our life here is so short, only a drop in the ocean compared to eternity.
Don’t you want to be sure?
How can I be sure? How can I know my name is written in the book of life?
Romans 10:9 Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead and you will be saved.
