Welcome To The New Old Year

What we forget about God sometimes is that He is the master of time and for Him it does not exist. What is present to us is past to Him as is all the rest of what we call time. He has seen the future from before the foundation of the world.

Worried about 2024? To Him it is a done deal and nothing takes Him by surprise, even your pain or failure. He has seen your loneliness or despair. He has seem you times of strong faith and your times of weak, nearly extinguished faith. He had the answer to your prayers and saw your destiny before your X or Y chromosomes were created in your parent's body and they were joined at conception. He knew Jeremiah before he was formed and called him to be a prophet. He has a call on your life as well. He knows when you will accept it and what kind of misery it might take for you to accept it.

Thus do not despair. He saw the end at the beginning and for those who are His. He has seen them in Christ at the end of the world. He has seen what He has planned for them to be doing in eternity when we cannot see anything in this moment that is good in our lives.

Read the verse below. Feeling unseen? He saw you in eternity past. Feeling alone? He is omnipresent. You are never alone. Feel unloved? He loved you and accepted you in the Beloved in eternity past. Feel rejected? He has been rejected by the majority since the Fall of man. He knows your pain. Feel like no one cares and you are abandoned? He predestined you for adoption. When your mother and father forget you, He will lift you up in His arms as a precious child that Jesus Christ died and purchased from the one who would love to see you destroyed. .

2024? No big deal as are all the years until His coming. Will there be hard times? Yes. Will He be there? Yes. He saw it all and saw how He would bring you through it. That is the God who loves you. That is the Son who died for you. That is the Spirit who was sent to comfort and guide you. The New Year is old news to Him and He has it handled. Rest, beloved in the Beloved. He is risen! He is risen, indeed and coming back! Alleluia!
