Welcome To our Planet Earth

Pastor Kevin

Why am I here?

Do I really have a purpose?

Is my destiny really planned out already?

Many teens and adults today are floundering as to why they even exist. The world according to satan has been teaching the theory of evolution for so long that we now have generations of people that believe it is true and that we evolved from ooze millions of years ago. They don’t believe in creation and therefore have a sense of loss in something they can’t explain.

The first theory of our existence is that long, long ago there was nothing. That all of a sudden, a big explosion occurred, and miraculously we were here. Everything was here, by a big, huge mistake.

The trees, with their photosynthesis process, their leaves and flowers beautifully crafted and budding, their leaves that change colors in the fall. The planets appeared, by a huge bang, all following their orbits in turn with gravity.

All of the planets just started moving in the way they were meant to move, all the stars just started shining, and the Earth started rotating, revolving around the Sun. The water? Oh, that just started flowing in its currents, started wrapping itself around the land, making a beautiful scene. Oh, yea, I almost forgot the biggest mistake – us.The earthly scholars want everyone to believe that after we evolved from the ooze of comet dust millions of years ago.

We eventually formed into apes and eventually became human, and all our body parts just started working together. Our hearts just started beating, making a steady blood flow throughout our whole body, making us stay alive. When we get a cut, our body just works together and instantly heals the wound with a scab, to protect it. All of these things were just a big, huge, beautiful, mistake.

We as Christians know better though. We believe God created us and therefore we are not an accident but a creation with divine purpose that God created for His glory. (Isaiah 43:7)

Sometimes we don’t know what are calling is yet, but rest assured you have been called for a purpose.

In 2 Timothy 1:9 it says, “(God) who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,”

We have been chosen by God to be called His sons and daughters before He ever created the world. Ephesians 1:4-5 says, “just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons (and daughters) by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will”

Wow what an incredible revelation! We didn’t choose God, He chose us!

Psalm 139:14-16

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

God knows exactly what He has planned for you! “Well I am just a teen. What can I do?” you ask.

God delights in using people that others would never consider using. Many people, including those in the church think young people are something they have to ‘deal with’ until they grow up. They think you have nothing to offer and can’t serve in ministry until you are older. (give me a break)

Simply put, this train of thought is totally stupid.

God loves to use young people and those who the world thinks is unworthy.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.

Even if people are telling you that you are too young, not smart enough, charismatic enough, holy enough or whatever, don’t believe it for a second.

All throughout the Bible there are stories of young people who God used in mighty ways. History is also filled with mighty women and men of God who were called when they were teens.
