Summary: If you are going through constant problems in your family, nothing but only PRAYER can give you deliverance. When the enemy deliberately brings you into combat, it is all the more imperative for us to stand against him.
Weary Hands!
Exodus 17:12”But Moses hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands……..”
Friend! When you get weary and tired fighting against the enemies, do not plan to quit, instead join with fellow believers or a strong believer friend and intensify the heat of the prayer. Are you listening? I said intensify! Scorch the enemy with your fiery prayer!
Just when we had a week for our convention meeting at our Church, the enemy sent police officers and local political people who barged into our church during the service and howled that we should leave the area. The enemy was keen to wipe us out of the area, listen to what happened; God provided a bigger platform and a much more spacious auditorium in the same area on the main road for the convention meetings. We held the meetings with freedom in the same area! Give Him a shout of praise will you! But wait a minute, all these miracles unfolded because we as a church had fasted for seven days for this convention meeting. My 14 year old son Joshua developed fever and also mouth ulcers during the fasting days but he persisted and joined us in this fasting. God watched it! Your strength comes not in your connection with the local police, powerful people of the area or from your solid bank balance but from your tight connection with God! There were enormous times that I felt depleted and tired; yet, during all those times, prayers of people and my family uplifted me. I share this to tell you that even I am not exempted from being tired and exhausted; however, I came to tell you not to quit! Stay on. Hold on. Pray on. Keep believing and trusting God who would come on time. Amen.
This morning while I was meditating the book of Exodus I read how Moses was weary and tired holding up his hands while Joshua fought against Amalek. Aaron and Hur brought a stone for Moses to sit and also they stood on either side and helped Moses to raise his hands to God as Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword. Did you notice that prayer and unity among the leaders were necessary to defeat the enemies?
If you are going through constant problems in your family, nothing but only PRAYER can give you deliverance. When the enemy deliberately brings you into combat, it is all the more imperative for us to stand against him. Roll up your sleeves to do some hard prayer! Victory is yours!
