WE WRESTLE

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12, King James Version [The Christian's Armour]).

Greetings In The Holy Name Of Jesus,

My brothers and sisters, “we wrestle” with the cities we live in, powers, the rulers of darkness and with spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Apostle Paul spoke to the Ephesians in a letter that is known as an “Imprisonment Letter” about the Church as the body of Christ. My fellow believers in Jesus, I find myself in reflection over many of the daily battles that present themselves in my face to the point of deciding to fight or not to fight. Apostle Paul told the Ephesians while he was in prison to put on the whole Armour of God...to stand (verse 13). We wrestle...

In our daily lives, we fight with the operating policies of the large corporations store fronts in our communities: such as banks and grocery stores, local towns private and public schools boards, laws of the land peace officers and those who worship with us in church in the exalted position of Christ Jesus. Many people know not every one in power is good when using power, sometimes you find the person with power is down-right evil. Bless the day that God made when the truth you hold dear to your heart fails you in battle, you fall short of the righteousness of Christ Jesus, you fail to know in your heart the gospel of peace, the weakness of your conscious and your flesh beat you down to the ground so much you feel you do not have sufficient faith to fight the good fight, fear creeps in to force out your belief in your own salvation and you feel the Spirit is not with you and you do not know the Word of God to utter in times of need, to make a stand (verses 14-17). We wrestle..

In desperate measures the banks' overdraft, if that does not get you, then the traffic tickets, the school fees for activities, library books and materials, field trips, or lunches will send you screaming at the powers that be, not to mention an arrest for not sending your child to school every day or getting kicked off the airplane for your child's behavior or even your behavior---making you the new criminal living on your neighborhood's block. When you feel you will pop a blood vessel in your brain, suffer a heart attack and come unhinged---unglued---ballistic against your neighbors because the Romans in your neighborhood are against you, just remember Apostle Paul told the Romans that nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38, KJV [principalities; Paul's sorrow for the Jews]). When you feel that you know someone practiced witchcraft against you to take your husband, your man, your children, your life and lifestyle away from you---placed you at the will of the powers of darkness, to let darkness stand against you and to give the sorcerers the power to win their hour of darkness over you to wreak havoc in your life as the hour came against Jesus and the power of darkness stretched his hand against him to rule---know that God is with you (Luke 22:53; Romans 8:38). I decided to let go and let God have his way (Christ Jesus) in my life; let God order my steps (and prepare the way for my going out and coming in); let the will of God prevail in my life. We wrestle...

In general, I notice how people step in to their homes, local businesses, and churches, sometimes unbeknownst to them they step right into messes or situations that had they known they would not have stepped in [shake the dust off your feet]. How easy it is to get caught up and how hard it is to get yourself out of the mess that you step in---make peace quickly as you can, try with all your might to turn the situation around to get back to the peace of the gospel (Christ Jesus) because it will cost you, sometimes more than you have to bear when you let those who are spiritually wicked in high places---positions of authority over you, get their hands on you with the power to take your life and liberty away? My fellow sisters and brothers, it is far

better to live in peace and seek peace than to spend your life dodging every bullet (every dart) that comes your way especially when the darts coming against hold authority and power to rule. More importantly, the family that is not really family or the friend that is not really a friend who will sacrifice you to the spiritually wicked in principalities that have power to rule over you and who probably belong to Satan, in all truth you must accept that they were not your family when they sacrificed you to save themselves---they were possessed by Satan or demonic spirits, maybe they have already sold their souls and are Satan's foot soldiers, you need to separate from them even though the old saying, “keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer” tries to prevail---it is best to break the ties that bind you to them. We wrestle...

Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
