God s word reveals unto us how to be saved

In order to be saved and know it

1.We must know that Salvation has been provided for us.

A. Christ paid the redemption price

Heb 2:9But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

B. It is Gods will that we be saved

2nd Peter 3:9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

C. His Salvation is for all

Rev:22:17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

D. We must know and meet the conditions of Salvation

We must repent of our sins

Acts 17: 30And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

We must have FAITH in Christ for Salvation

E. Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

2nd Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
