We Are The Winners Series

We are the Winners in this Game of Life! I have read the end of The Book and we win!

Nothing can stop the church in Action! The Acts of the HS in the Apostles is the greatest example for the

ACTION OF THE CHURCH TODAY!

Acts 5:12-40 -- Key verses = 39-42

The world cant stop us! – The devil cant stop us!

Matt 16:18…I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Nothing can stop us when we are

I. Willing to care for people! 5:12-13

A. Our hands must care for people – a sign of the Love in Christ // It’s a wonder we do!

B. People respond to the Love of the Lord seen in our hands – v13-14

C. Losers are jealous of winners v17 “indignation”

D. Losers try to stop winners v18

Today we will ask for volunteers to be a care group leader. Sign your name and your SS class and walk the aisle and lay it on the alter.>> You can use your hands!

Nothing can stop us when we are

II. winning people to Christ! 5:19-25

A. We are all released from prison to Go and share our new LIFE!

1. Miracles of God are for evangelism!

2. God gives us this same message

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

B. We will also be confronted by the other side v26-28

Nothing can stop us when we are

III. Want to obey god more than anything! V29

A. Because we are forgiven. 31

B. Because we have seen God work in our lives – we are witnesses! V32

C. Because we are filled with the Spirit – empty of ourselves!

Conclusion

Acts 5:39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

Nothing can stop us when we are

I. Willing to care for people! 5:12-13

II. Winning people to Christ! 5:19-25

III. Want to obey God more than anything!
