INTRODUCTION

Perhaps someone can say, “If I am the object of His blessings, why I am living in these unjustified conditions?” Perhaps what needs he/she needs to do is to put more attention at the conditions that the Bible demands to be able to obtain the blessings promised.

I. THE CONDITIONS

a) "If you would seek God early in the morning…" (Job 8:5-A). There is a great importance to begin a new day putting God first before everything else. If we have to seek to God we should not have to plan it or postpone it for later, our encounter with Him should be immediate.

b) "If you search for God" To Seek God does not signify to be interested in His gifts more than in Him. Seeking God only when we need something, is against the principles of God, He demands that we seek Him at all times.

c) "If you were clean and blameless…" This cleaning is more a renewal or an interior conditioning. It consists of cleaning us of our sin and iniquities through a sincere repentance. God does not promise an automatic cleaning, but the process to give Him our burden each day. The blamelessness consists of our conduct. It is our treatment of others.

II. THE PROMISES

a) "Certainly then will awake for you" Signifies that God will act to our favor when we awaken and we realize our current condition and we run toward Him imploring His favor.

b) "…and will make prosperous the dwelling of your justice." It is of vital importance to reflect that life without Christ is a life full of injustices. Only through ours total and absolute dedication to the Lord Jesus God is able to prosper ours dwelling, and to work justice in our lives.

c) "Although your beginning may have been small, your later state will be very large" Remember that the beginning of Joseph was small; but his later state was large. All things in this life have a small beginning, mankind, the plants, the animals, the rich etc. In the hands of God all we have the same possibilities to develop in our potential and to grow.

CONCLUSION

Bildad the Shuhite said spiritual truths that are relevant in our days: “If we live according to God we will be key object of His blessings. And if these do not they reach us, we should examine our lives.”

QUESTIONS

1. How does one manage to be blessed on behalf of God?

2. What does God promise to the ones that seek him with all their heart?

3. Does someone today want to reconcile his life with the Lord and to ask him forgiveness, to begin to receive his blessings?
