MY LITTLE children, I write you these things so that you may not violate God’s law and sin. No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!

GOD's Love have been demonstrated among us, that's why it's made complete, we don't deserve GOD's love, while we were still unlovable, GOD sent His Son to die in our place.

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more [certain], now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin’s dominion) through His [resurrection] life.
