Was Yeshua A False Prophet
Contributed by Dr. Ronald Shultz on Sep 5, 2018 (message contributor)
Summary: There was a post for a video by Jewish folks saying Jesus/Yeshua was a false prophet because He led people away from the true God. Here is my response. I suspect they will delete it from their link.
For your consideration.
Isa 48:16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
Isa 48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
How many Gods here? The one speaking and the two who sent Him.
Yet,
Deu_6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
Yet, one is a composite unity like :
Jdg_20:8 And all the people arose as one man, saying, We will not any of us go to his tent, neither will we any of us turn into his house.
Same Hebrew word for one here as in Deut 6:4 which is clearly not meaning one and only one. Used the same way in other passages as well.
Honest questions here for if I were not a Christian, I would be a Jew.
There is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood then how are the sins of the Jews been atoned for without a sacrifice since AD 70 or 3830?
G-D only exiled the Jews for 70 years for idolatry. What happened that they were exiled for over 1900 years and why did it happen after AD 33 or 3794? What sin or event caused such an extended exile and still no restoration of the temple to have a sacrifice? Jews were only exiled or defeated when they were not right with G-D after He warned them with the prophets. What prophet did they fail to heed in that time period. There was only one at the time.
I agree that many false believers in Y'shua have treated the Jews horribly and they will answer to the Jewish Messiah for that abuse.
Y'shua did not lead people away from YHWH, but pointed to Him and the Torah as His authority for who He claimed to be and perfectly refuted the traditions of the Pharisees and the unbelief of the Sadducees, which were pointing the people away from YHWH and His ways.
HaShem had no pleasure in either sect. The Sadducees denied His Word and the The Pharisees added to and took away from it as they pleased. Y'Shua took people back to the original interpretation of the Law thus honoring HaShem when the learned Rabbis did not honor Him.
I fear as false prophets have led many away from the truth of Y'Shua that many Rabbis with good intentions may also have led people away from HaShem withholding many words of the Law and the Prophets from their people while quoting many men and making the words of man the authority, not the words of G-D.
Peace be unto Israel and may the Redeemer come soon to establish His kingdom fulfilling all the promises made to Abraham, Issac and David.
