Story: Statue of David, in 1502 in Florence Italy there was a Large block of marble given to a church in Santa Maria, the church thought they hired a professional to sculpt this block, and he drilled a hole right at the bottom destroying this magnificent piece of marble so that they church simply draped a sheet over this block. It was damaged beyond repair. Then Michelangelo heard about it and that it was in disrepair, so out of curiosity he went to check it out and thought “hey I can do something here” and after time he began to work and sculpt and what was thought to be a lost cause became one of the greatest statues of David ever built. There are youth today who feel like that gigantic slab of marble, things have been done to them and something is broken inside. But in the capable hands of the Master, they can be molded into all the Jesus has called them to be.

Christ’s Love: I Peter 5:6 Humble Yourselves, therefore under the Mighty hand of God that He may life you up in due time.

The key to allowing the healing power of God touch to these places in our lives and hearts is to surrender.

A. Christ died and did everything already “Telestai” including healing (physical, emotional, spiritual)

B. We have to be humble to admit we need help

C. Recognize that ONLY JESUS can help, not us, Zech. 4:6 , PS 103:1-5

D. Weak = Strength for God 2 Cor. 12:9

Forgiveness: Matthew 6:14-15 if you forgive men when they sin against you, I will forgive you But if not then I will not

E. Jesus can not fill us with His Love and Healing if we are full of bitterness and hurt John 3:30

F. If we don’t forgive & empty ourselves, our hearts grow hard and cold and unresponsive to the Holy Spirit

G. Hurt – Bitter – Anger – Stronghold – Ephesians 4:26-27 , James 1:15

Relationship: Revelation 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and eat w/ him

H. Because of His great Love and Forgiveness we can have fellowship with the Master

I. In Christ we are a new creation no longer bound by our past Romans 11:16,17 2Corinthians 5:17

J. Our thought and mindset needs to change Romans 12:2

K. God desires personal relationship with You young person.

L. Test your selves this week

M. If your hearts are filled with bitterness, insults and sarcasm come out, if anger, then swaring and slurs, if the Word, Blessing

N. What then is coming out of your mouths? And ask yourselves was that out lour?

O. Pray and seek God to show you areas you need healing from strongholds, sin, and emotional pains Ps 139: 23-24
