Was It Only Jesus Who They Rejected ?

Summary: Your small actions can cost you a lot. This sermon is to warn at the same time to encourage ,Regarding your behavior towards pastors.
Matthew 13: 53-54
53 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
In this scriptures we see Jesus visiting his own town and teaching in the synagogue.
Did you notice something in this verse ? , It says HE was come !.
Who is HE ?
Obviously its Jesus, you'll say and so all.
But I ask the same question again WHO HAS COME?
Let me help you,
Jesus Came meaning:
- Blessing Came
- Anointing Came
- Healing came
- Way came
- Truth came
- Life came
- Living bread Came
- Living water Came
- Power came
- prosperity came
- Success came
- solution came
- Resurrection came
- salvation came
THE WORD OF GOD CAME !
But the people only saw that Jesus came, The physical body of Jesus.
In todays time does Jesus come to our church ?
Yes
The question is how ?
Jesus comes by His appointed pastors.
15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
God gave us pastors according to His heart.
NOW we need to understand here who is Jesus ? And how does he comes to Church by His appointed pastors ?
The answer is in John 1: 14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
The Word became flesh, meaning Word became Jesus , Meaning Jesus is the Word that is taught to you by your pastors.
So when your pastor is teaching the Word, What do we see? physical body of your pastor and everything he does or do in his personal life or you see the:
- Blessing coming
- Anointing Coming
- Healing coming
- Way coming
- Truth coming
- Life coming
- Living bread Coming
- Living water coming
- Power coming
- prosperity coming
- Success coming
- solution coming
- Resurrection coming
- salvation coming
THE WORD OF GOD COMING ? JESUS COMING?
WHAT DO WE SEE COMING ?
We have a choice to see the physical body and to question it , judge it.
Or to Receive What God has for us.
However in :
Matthew 13: 55-56
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
We see in this verses people started to question.
- Is not this the carpenter's son?
- Is not his mother called Mary?
- And his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
- And his sisters, are they not all with us?
- Whence then hath this man all these things?
And by questioning they rejected Jesus.
57 And so they rejected him.
Jesus said to them, “A prophet is respected everywhere except in his hometown and by his own family.”(GNT)
Today some of us are Rejecting Jesus without knowing.
When our pastors are preaching/ teaching us. We Talk about him, Against him.
By doing this we are only harming ourselves.
58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
As church members we have a choice to create a unbelief atmosphere or to create a atmosphere of Faith.
- When we create unbelief atmosphere, we don't receive what God has for us.
- When we create Atmosphere of Faith, we receive what God has for us.
And am sure we all want to receive what God has prepared for us.
Conclusion:
In conclusion I would say , Become a person that ROMANS 8:14 says:
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Pray that you become the person who is led by the Spirit of God. So that your action and decisions are from the Spirit of God and not yours or what majority does in church.
Its time to walk in the Spirit of God !
