Walking In Wisdom

Summary: This sermon illustrates six ways to walk in wisdom as found in the text.
I. Introduction
a. Wisdom is something that everyone seeks.
II. The First Way is to make the Most of Our Time. (16)
a. People today waste time.
b. “the days are evil.”
III. The Second Way is to understand the Will of God. (17)
a. God Speaks through the Bible
b. God Speaks through Prayer
c. John 8:47 –“He who is of God hears the words of God; The reason you do not hear them, because you do not belong to God.”
IV. The Third Way is to be Filled with the Holy Spirit. (18)
a. Do not get drunk, refers to the acting under the influence of anything other than the spirit.
V. The Fourth way is to have Public Worship. (19)
a. We must be with other Christians in order to walk in Wisdom.
b. Wisdom is not a solo thing.
c. Hebrews 10:25
VI. The Fifth way is to give thanks to God (20)
a. The Bible is constantly talking about giving Thanks to God.
VII. The Sixth way is to submit to the Lord. (21)
a. James 4:7
V. Conclusion
a. Today make a decision to Walk in wisdom.
b. The First Way is to make the Most of Our Time.
c. The Second Way is to understand the Will of God.
d. The Third Way is to be Filled with the Holy Spirit.
