Summary: Whenever the glory of God manifests, His power comes to play to give all round blessings.

Walking in the Power of His Glory

Study Text: Isaiah 60:1-3

Introduction:

The Glory of God is the totality of His Being, Greatness and Power. Since we serve a God of Glory then we are automatically carriers of His Glory which is meant to be manifested for others to see.

Every Believer must thirst and crave for God`s glory. And when the glory of God comes, it attracts several blessings to the life of the Believers:

1. The Blessings of His Presence

- This gives courage against fear and worries. Psalm 23:

- Moses was not afraid at the Red Sea because of the glory of God.

2. The Blessings of His Protection

- Divine shield against all destructive devices. Isaiah 54:17

- Weapons in the physical and in the spiritual.

3. The Blessings of His Provisions

- There is no need that God can not supply.

- He does that according to the riches of His glory. Philippians 4:19

4. The Blessings of His Promotion

- The glory of God is a lifter up of men's head. Psalm 100:1-3

- All manners of promotion comes through the glory of God.

5. The Blessings of His Performance

- The glory of God brings about the power for supernatural performances.

- Miracles, signs and wonders follow the manifestation of His glory.

- Jesus told Martha and Mary that they will see the glory of God. John 11:

6. The Blessings of His Preservation

- The glory of God preserves a man blameless in the will of God till the end.

- The preservation of Joseph all through the journey in fulfilling his destiny.

7. The Blessings of Persecutions.

- The glory of God upon your life will bring hatred, opposition and resistance from the enemy.

- But Jesus said it is great blessings if you are persecuted for righteousness sake. Matthew 5: 12

How does the glory of God come:

1. By Calling the name of Jesus

- Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved and delivered from all forms of evil and destructive arrangements.

- The blind Bathemaeus saw His glory when he called His name.

2. By Pleading the Blood of Jesus.

- The Blood of Jesus is a powerful weapon that destroys the enemy and speaks mercy and glory for the children of God that plead the Blood. Revelation 12:11

3. By Speaking the Word of God

- The glory of God comes to manifestation when the right word of God is boldly declared by faith into the situation.

- The Bible says the Word of God is quick and powerful and accomplishes great things that physical weapons cannot achieve.

4. By Singing Praises unto God

- The glory of God comes down whenever we sing a heartfelt praises unto God. This is because God inhabits the praises of His people.

- We can see a standing example when Paul and Silas sing praises in the prison. Acts 16: 25-28

5. When we are Set to Glorify God

- God wants us to Glorify Him with our lives and our services unto Him and will not share His glory with anyone. Isaiah 42:8

- God will always manifest His glory anytime He can see that we are Set to glorify Him.

- The honouring of Joshua request over the moon and the sun, the release of fire for Elijah and the deliverance of the three Hebrew men from fire, and that of Daniel from the lion den are all good examples to remember.

Conclusion:

- You are to arise and shine in all areas of your life, because the glory of God is risen upon you.
