Summary: Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen...

Today, we are reminded of a fundamental truth in our Christian journey: walking by faith, not by sight. This concept may seem simple, but it requires intentional practice and surrender.

In Scripture, we see numerous examples of God's people facing uncertain situations, where the natural response was fear and doubt. Yet, they chose to trust in God's promises and walk by faith. Abraham, Moses, and the prophets all exemplified this principle.

2 Corinthians 5:7 - "For we walk by faith, not by sight."

Walking by faith means:

• Believing in God's presence and guidance, even when unseen

• Trusting His Word and promises, though circumstances may contradict

• Stepping out in obedience, even when the path ahead is unclear

Conversely, walking by sight focuses on the visible, relying on our human understanding. This limited perspective can lead to anxiety, fear, and doubt.

As we choose to walk by faith:

• We align ourselves with God's kingdom and His purposes

• We tap into His strength and wisdom

• We experience a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him

Remember, faith is not blind; it's based on the character and nature of our faithful God. May we cultivate a heart that trusts Him more and more, embracing the mystery and adventure of walking by faith, not by sight. Amen.
