Virgin Birth

Summary: Which is harder creating an universe or a virgin birth?
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 KJV
People struggle with the Virgin Birth but it is not that hard to comprehend. If you believe that God created the first sperm, indeed millions, when He created Adam it is no big thing that He could create one seed to implant in Mary that would not have the sin nature of Adam.
God is the creator of DNA so how hard would it be to program that one sperm with DNA that matched His attributes? Instead of a soul and spirit being created at conception Jesus, the second person of the Godhead, the Son Jesus as well as the Holy Spirit inhabits that Body making Him God in the flesh.
Jesus could not have married and have had children as some believe as He would have created a new race without the sin nature and DNA that could not sin. At that point, God could have destroyed the old human race and started over with His descendants. Praise God that did not happen and He kept His promises to Eve, Abraham and David.
Theologians use the term hypo-static union to describe the Virgin Birth, but keeping it simple has been better for me when I witness to folks. I am sure that there were some other complexities involved that we will not understand until we are with Him and maybe not then.
I do not think we will ask many of the burning questions we have here because just being before Him will be all we need. What we do not comprehend here we faith or trust. He has given us much evidence that He is trustworthy in so many areas that it should not be a big thing to trust Him for everything.
Emmanuel has come! Worship and adore Him in a way that is fitting. It is only about us because it is all about Him coming to redeem sinners. Alleluia! Maranatha!
