VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Don't forget to read GOD's Words
"This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth,"
The world's bad success is different from GOD's Success that He will give to us with no sorrow. The world's bad success always has strings attached to it, always will have a replacement, always hurts you in the end. The LORD's Success and wealth, however, is different from world's bad success, it makes you truly rich with no sorrow.
Proverbs 10:22 (Amplified Bible)
The blessing of the Lord—it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].
For example, going abroad for a better job, but leaving your family behind makes you an absent-father to them, not good for their growth for they will missed the role of a father, and give entire responsibility to mother alone. That's bad success. If this is truly a blessing and wealth with no sorrow, why not take the whole family abroad? It's not good opportunity as well.
Deuteronomy 33:4 (Amplified Bible)
When Moses commanded us a law, as a possession for the assembly of Jacob.
Joshua 1:7 (Amplified Bible)
Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
B. Meditate on it day and night
"but you shall meditate on it day and night,"
Psalms 1:2 (Amplified Bible)
But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.
Psalms 119:15 (Amplified Bible)
I will meditate on Your precepts and have respect to Your ways [the paths of life marked out by Your law].
Psalms 104:34 (Amplified Bible)
May my meditation be sweet to Him; as for me, I will rejoice in the Lord.
Meditate means "revolve in the mind", "imagine", "murmur", "study", "ponder", "mutter", always think and reason from yourself GOD's Words, how His goodness satisfied us. Always highlight and magnify GOD's Words in our minds.
C. Follow and obey GOD's Words
"that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it."
James 1:22 (Amplified Bible)
But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].
