Summary: This Next part of the Sermon takes us to the All seeing all knowing Providence of God.

VI. The Providence of God (vs. 15-16) -- This Next part of the Sermon takes us to the All seeing all knowing Providence of God. Providence is the compounded word: Pro -- Future, Ahead, Vidence -- our English word Video (which is to see.)

A. His Eyes (15a) -- Notice that the focus is not the negative connotation of God Seeing all the Evil that goes on in the world -- And He does. But in the Context of Good and Peace and Favor of the Lord -- The Eyes of the Lord of on the “Righteous”

So who are the Righteous? -- Those perfect Christians who do everything right? They don’t exist -- We live under the New Covenant.

(Rom 10:4 NKJV) For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

B. His Ears (15b) -- When by Faith your are believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior -- God has imparted to you the Gift of Righteousness (Rom 5:17) Not only does God have his Loving Eyes on you for Good -- He is leaning down His ear to our Cry! As a Loving Father would to His Children.

Throughout the course of any given day -- My Family Cries out to me….they need help or advice, sometimes they just want to know if I’m there (Those are special times -- when they cry out not because they need anything; but because they just want to hear your voice.

(1Jo 5:14-15 NKJV) Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

C. His Face -- God is not indifferent to the deeds of sinners, but he sets his face against them,

Listen God is not just turning away from the Evil deeds of those who are against Him and those who are loved by Him.

There is coming a day of reckoning -- Every man will give an account. -- For the Believer our Judgement for our Evil deeds was poured out on the body of Jesus.

So much that the Father Turned his Face.

The Beauty of the Cross is that God turned His face away from His Son….To now place His loving Gaze upon those who by Faith are covered by the Blood.

What about all those who never put their Faith in Jesus Christ?

The remembrance of them are cut off from the Earth.

Cut Off -- kä·rath' -- cut off, cut down, cut off a body part, behead.

He will stamp out their fires, their honour shall be turned into shame, their names forgotten or accursed. Utter destruction shall be the lot of all the ungodly.

Everyone who rejected God’s provision for Sin...They will be cut off...They will be forgotten, we won’t be in Heaven talking about all the people who did us wrong.

That is part of Redemption is God removing from our memory the names and people who caused evil and pain to the Saints.

(Job 18:17 NKJV) The memory of him perishes from the earth, And he has no name among the renowned.

(Pro 10:7 NKJV) The memory of the righteous [is] blessed, But the name of the wicked will rot.
