Using Faith

Some people seem to be blessed, while others seem to struggle all of the time. Why is this? Do bad things not happen to them? They just learn how to handle the things and overcome them.

Psalm 1:1-3

-There are 4 types of people, but only one can be blessed

1.) Walk in the counsel of the ungodly

-Who are you listening to?

-Foolish decisions come from ungodly advice.

-When you walk with ungodliness you do ungodly things

2.) Stands in the way of sinners

-When you stand in the way of sinners you become one of them.

-Think about what group you hang out with it doesn’t matter who you are and what group you hang out with there are certain things that you will do everyday. Your group will soon begin to make decisions for you.

3.) Sits in the seat of mockers

-Mockers are always negative. When we begin to criticize things just because we don’t understand them, we become mockers. Mockers always know the answers to every one of the worlds problems, but they are unwilling to do anything about it.

-FANS OF SPORTS ALWAYS COULD HAVE DONE BETTER.

-The fourth is special they don’t live on anything other then what the Bible says.

Hebrews 11:6

4.) His delight is in the law of the Lord

-This is the only type of person God can bless! He meditates on God’s

word day and night and live by faith. This is the person that grows there faith everyday by believing for things.

-The amount of Faith doesn’t matter but how much can trust.

-Luke 17:5-6, Jesus said the amount is not important but how you use it that is important. The only way to grow you faith is by Romans 10:17 by hearing! Jesus tells them that faith works like a seed. It was trust that kept them going.

-God looks for people to bless-2 Chronicles 16:9
