Unusual Weapons Against Stubborn Enemies

Summary: This week, we are considering a message entitled, “Unusual weapons against stubborn enemies.” Let us take our first Bible passage from the book of Exodus 15 verse 3, which says, “The Lord is a man of war. The Lord is His name.”
The Psalmist also teaches us that we can release trouble upon the enemy. This testimony will serve to explain this: Three demonic agents were sent to go and pour evil liquid on some innocent people. As they were going in the night, they stumbled on some believers who were holding night vigil and discovered that they were unable to move ahead. They tried all they could to get away from there, but were unable to, and the evil liquid they were carrying had a time limit. It should not remain in their hands beyond 1.a.m. They got trapped by 12.30 a.m. and by 1 am; they ended up pouring the evil liquid on themselves. As a result, they were never normal human beings again. This is telling us that once a believer prays that the Lord should trouble every troubler of his Israel, things must happen. The Psalmist also teaches us that we can release fear upon the enemy. After the day of Pentecost, and the apostles had turned Jerusalem upside down, the Bible says that three things came upon them; great power, great grace and great fear. It then means that when fear is released on your enemy, he will run away at the mention of your name. He also teaches us to use the net as a weapon against the enemy. He prayed that whoever sets a net against him should be caught in his own net. We can also command destruction on any evil gathering against us and such evil gathering will never hold again. Whoever tries to reconvene it will end up being destroyed. Also, our enemies can be driven into the wilderness where they will be completely useless and can never affect our lives again in any way.
Another weapon the Bible teaches us to use is confusion. When the enemies get confused, they will not remember your name, instead they will be mentioning their own names. I remember a brother who used to do morning cry. He did not know that his name had been taken to an evil meeting. There, he was accused of disturbing the evil beings every morning with shouts of the name of Jesus. That night, the wicked people came together to summarily deal with him. They had a demonic drum where his face was supposed to appear once they mentioned it; and immediately his face appeared, they would strike it with a wood and he would be killed. As they began to call his name, it did not appear until the third time, and as they struck it, the Lord exchanged the face of the brother with theirs. As a result the wood struck their faces and three out of the five of them died instantly. That is the weapon of confusion for you. Another thing we can release is an angel of the living God. When an angel starts to fight on your behalf, it is a serious matter. Remember that it was an angel that released Peter from prison and led him out of the prison yard. The Bible says that as they were going, the doors were opening of their own accord. They did not need to touch them. You too can do that. The Bible also tells us that you can release shame upon your enemy. You can as well cause division among them, and when this happens, they will begin to fight one another while you go scot-free. It is also possible to release coals of fire on the enemy. By so doing, they will know that the living God is your God. Your enemies can also be released into deep, bottomless pit from where they cannot come out. Lightening, whirlwind and thunder can be sent to the camp of the enemies. What meeting can hold when lightening strikes? No satanic altar can remain in the face of God’s whirlwind, and when His thunder strikes, who can withstand it?
