TWINKLE MATTHEW 6:22

1. The Lord has given us sight

Natural – Luke 4:18 ; “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted , to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised ,”

Spiritual - 1 Corinthians 2:9,10 ; “But as it is written , Eye hath not seen , nor ear heard , neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him…… But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

2. God has blessed us with things that stir our minds and hearts - ---------Things that cause us to get that twinkle in our eyes

3. GENESIS 29 - JACOB AND RACHEL - (Twinkle in the eyes of soul mates)

Vs 17 “Leah was tender eyed; but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured”

4. GENESIS 21 – THE BIRTH OF ISAAC- (Twinkle in the eyes of parents for their children)

Vs 5-7 “God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me”

5. LUKE 24 – TWO MEN ON THE EMMAUS ROAD (I saw something about Jesus)

 Vs 30 – 32 “…And their eyes were opened…” “…Did not our hearts burn…”

ISAIAH 6 – “In the year King Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord”

HEBREWS 2:9 – “…But we see Jesus…”

HEBREWS 12:2 – “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher….”

6. 1 CORINTHIANS 15:51 – THE LORD WILL SEE ME, BROKEN HEARTED AND READY TO GO

• “Behold I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump”

• Another writer said “For the Lord himself shall descend with a shout”

• AS A BRIDE ADORNED FOR HER HUSBAND

DO YOU HAVE THAT TWINKLE IN YOUR EYES, WAITING FOR HIS SOON RETURN

“And when these things begin to come to pass , then look up , and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh .” Luke 21:28
