Summary: In troubled times, rest can be found
If you were in danger and someone warned you of the fate to come, would you heed the warning or ignore the signs? We are living in times today such as that. We were warned repeatedly they would take place, time and time again. Stated in the word of God, things our forefather's experienced. Times when so many feel helpless, looking and asking for an answer to the situations they are facing. There IS an answer !! His name is Jesus Christ.
I know most of us have heard the story of a Savior coming to die for us, in our place. He took upon himself the shame and punishment we would have faced if it wasn't for his love. He brought the answer to every situation we face, all we have to do is search for a relationship with Jesus Christ. When we face discouragement-Jesus promises to bring us peace, when we are weak he is our strength.
Isaiah 26:3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusted in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever, for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. If you are hurt, depressed, abused, or feel alone-look to the one who created you and knows you so well, he has your name written on the palm of His hand -Isaiah 49:16 and He knows number the hairs on your head. You may lack a relationship with an earthly mother or daddy but He will be everything you ever searched for. In HIS presence you will feel such joy.
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; over thee with singing. You may have many experiences in this world but there is none that compare with a relationship with Jesus Christ, to come into his sweet presence and love. No matter what you have been through, never feel it is too late for a new beginning. When Jesus enters your heart-you become a new creation. All yesterday's are truly a shadow, no longer there to hurt you. God buries your sins in a sea of forgetfulness. Forgiven and Forgotten. Micah 7:19 You will acquire a new set of desires, new interests and new friends!! I have experienced a change and understand that transformation may be painful but when you fall in the arms of Jesus, you will understand the meaning of true peace. The blessings and promises of a new life are all yours - free for the asking. Remember- to have a relationship with someone you must get to know them. To truly know someone, you have to spend time with them, get to know their heart. Jesus truly wants to spend time with you and be your friend and Father.
The A,B,C's of Salvation:
Accept Jesus Christ Believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again to cover our sins ( in our place)
Confess your sin and allow Jesus to be the Lord of your life
I pray you will search for the true meaning of life; there were many years I searched for meaning and purpose. I know now my purpose is to serve God and allow him to be Lord over my life, to help others find the priceless gift of love, joy, peace and acceptance through Jesus Christ. Find a quite place to sit, talk to your Father, I promise He will answer.
