Trophy’s of Hell

Luke 22:31-32

31And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

I am thankful for all I know and feel and especially all the things I know.

It has been said that we stand a greater chance of being lost today than being saved.

Because of the great things that come against us everyday.

We must walk so carefully and softly before God.

We must honest with ourselves, and that is hard to do…

We must be honest with our fellowman…

We must be honest with God…

We must be very careful of our actions and all that we do for our enemy is out to tear us down!!

Ephesians 6:11

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Against the wiles of the devil…

Wiles are defined as;

An act or a means of cunning deception

The adversary will do anything he can to try and set you up for a fall.

I Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

You see to catch a trophy deer, you’ve got to track him, stalk him, trick him, and lure him in.

Trophy deer just don’t come walking by, you’ve got to out smart him.

You’ve got to be smarter than that which you are seeking.

You see trophies are not dumb they’re smart.

That’s how they got to be trophies, but you’ve got to be a little smarter to get yourself a real trophy.

It’s great to get a 3x3 or a 4x4 buck, but it is even harder to catch yourself an 8x8, you’ve really got to be sneaky and trick him and lure him in.

And when you finally get a big buck you want to show him off and display him for everyone to see.

You must understand, there are bragging rites and stories to tell.

Just as satan desired to have Simon Peter that day, he is also working hard to trip you up and take you down.

Satan desires to sift you as wheat!

He will go to any length to trick you and to catch you off guard and take you down.

You see Peter wasn’t just a fisherman, but he was a fisherman with a call of God on his life!!

The devil is a master trophy hunter.

He has determined and studied the nature, the habits, the movements, and your very lifestyle…

Preachers are Prime Trophies!!

Preachers are a chosen vessel, preachers are gifts unto the church, and when the devil catches him a preacher he has gotten himself a great trophy.

We cannot leave out, prayer warriors, Sunday School teachers, and so on.

I believe that the enemy is on the door step of every person here today.

He will try every angle to catch you.

The devil is working hard everyday trying to add one more trophy to the wall in the show case of hell.

We need to get our minds off of what’s for dinner, get our minds off of the war, get our minds off of the economy, off things that just don’t seem to matter…

And get our minds on God

Get our minds on revival

Get our minds on praying

Get our minds on winning the lost

We need to quit playing church and become the church as it was in the book of Acts.
