Illustration: On a bright sunny day, when you walk into a dark movie theatre you really notice how dark it is. You tend to congregate at the back until gradually the darkness seems to lighten off & you begin to see again.

After a while you can see without difficulty. Indeed you seem to be able to see normally. “Normally” that is, until you walk back outside into the sunlight that almost blinds you...

As Christians we do the same thing. If we spend enough time in the world conforming to it, then you shall become so accustomed to it darkness, that you think it is normal and conform to its ungodly patterns.

Ask yourself the question, whom do you listen to?

The Word or the World?

Rom 12:2

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The bible says that we are to Transformed not be conformed in the thesaurus means to do the accepted thing Transform in the thesaurus means to convert make over or change we can do all three of the ones under transform if we don’t do the one under conform we can convert them from the devil to god and make over we can make over there pastsin to us and to god by forgiving them and asking gods forgiveness and we can change peoples life forever

As Christians We shouldn’t be lead by the lost but we should lead the lost and the Christians that aren’t following gods will.

Of course nobody can be happy like that.

It makes me think of a car accident where a person whom may not be the best driver under stress just like you may not be a good Christian under pressure just like in the car you still responsible for your actions you make one wrong turn and you can usually back out sometimes you just get one chance this one wrong turn in a car accident is An “Accident”

But some people turn down a one ways street after reading the signs and the devil deceives them. So they keep going the “WRONG WAY” Wouldn’t you think someone was pretty stupid if they Drove down a one-way street and knew what they were doing. We do it every day when we get in a relationship that we know wouldn’t please god this wouldn’t even have to be a sexual one if you know before hand that he or she drinks or does Drugs you knew this will hurt your witness. That’s just one of many examples. If your in a relationship that is like this one you will either go down with him or her or pull them up with you and it’s a lot easier to get pulled down than it is to pull some one else up. I’ve always wonder why people that have every need met in worldly possessions or so they think go and do drugs or get AIDS

3 John 1:11

11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

The lord tells us that we shouldn’t follow the evil but follow the good because it comes from god

The devil works thru people and things to ruin your witness he will work thru your Music that uses or implies vulgar or profane words or images friends, Boy/Girlfriend and especially your family. Family can influence you in so many ways they can support you in god or they can do the complete opposite and try to convice you different than what you believe. The music I said earlier was bad music but good christian music can also be a big inspiration to you in a time of need or spiritual uplifting.

Friend or BF/GF relationships cand take yoyu down and if you are a christian then you need to keep you repution as a servent of Christ good.and not only do we to act good in public but also act good because you may not think any body is looking but a lot of times there is somebody looking.and god always know when you conform and when you transform

We need to listen to what god has to say to us and not wind up conforming to the world but transforming the world to the word.
