Trade Your Sorrow for His Joy
Weeping May Last for a Night but a Shout of Joy Comes in the Morning. (Psalm 126)
Count it all joy when you encounter various trials knowing that the trial of your faith works patience. Let patience have its perfect work that you may be perfect and complete not lacking anything. (James 1:2,3)
If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I am a Healer?
Give all your pain, sorrow and burdens to the Lord Jesus Christ for He cares for you. "Casting all your care upon Him for His cares for you...After you have suffered a little while the God of all grace who calls you by His grace will Himself confirm you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." (I Pet. 5:7-11)
If you never had to pray, How would you know that I am a Deliverer?
"He's your Rock. He's your fortress. He's your deliverer. In Him we will trust. Praise the name of Jesus."
He is able to deliver you. Though by sin oppressed. Go to Him for rest. Our God is able to deliver you in every way if you will just call upon Him in total trust and obedience.
If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an overcomer?
"Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good." (Rom. 12:21)
Overcome by praising God for His greatness as He is greater than all your problems, hardships and circumstances. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (I John 4:4)
If you never felt sadness, How would you know that I am a Comforter?
"He comforts us in all our afflictions so that we are able to comfort those who are in any afflictions with the comfort we receive from God." (2 Cor. 1:3,4)
He comforts us so that we are given the Spirit's continual infusion of His peace, calm, composure and contentment in any situation. (Phil. 4:12)
"He gives more grace when the burdens grow greater. He sends more strength when the labors increase. To added affliction He adds more mercy. To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace. His grace has no measure. His love has no limit. His power has no boundary known unto men. For out of His infinite riches in Jesus. He gives and gives and gives again."
If you never made a mistake, How would you know that I am a forgiver?
"If we confess our sins. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)
If you knew all, How would you know that I will answer your questions?
Do not be like those who it is said, "Ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth."
"Speak the truth in love so that we can grow up (Mature) in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ." (Eph. 4:15)
If you never were in trouble, How would you know that I will come to your rescue
Job learned his lesson when he wrote, "Lord, now I know you can do all things and no purpose of yours can be thwarted." (Job. 42:1,2)
If you never were broken, Then how would you know that I can make you whole?
"The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken and contrite heart O God. This you will not despise."
"Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of God."
If you never had a problem,How would you know that I can solve them?
"Your grace is sufficient for me for your power is made perfect in my weakness. Most gladly therefore, I will boast in my infirmity that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For when I am weak then I am strong. The less I have the more I depend on Him." (2 Cor. 12:9,10)
If you never had any suffering, Then how would you know what I went through?
"Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free? No there's a cross for everyone and there's a cross for me."
If you never went through the fire, Then how would you become pure?
"When you pass through the waters I will be with you. When walk through the rivers they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire you will not be consumed. You are mine, you are precious in my sight." (Isaiah 43)
If I gave you all things, How would you appreciate them?
"As sorrowful yet always rejoicing. As poor yet having all things."
If I never corrected you, How would you know that I love you?
"All scripture is profitable for teaching, reproof, CORRECTION, and training in righteousness that the man of God could be equipped. Thoroughly furnished for all good works." (2 Tim. 3:16,17)
