It is a day that marks the culmination of Jesus Christ's earthly ministry, leading to His sacrificial death on the cross. On this solemn occasion, let us delve into the Scriptures to understand why Good Friday holds such profound importance for us as Christians.

Scripture Reading: John 3:16-17 (NIV)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

Explanation:

These verses encapsulate the essence of Good Friday—the unfathomable love of God demonstrated through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. God's love for humanity was so great that He willingly offered His Son as a sacrifice to reconcile us to Himself.
