Summary: Where has the time gone? There is a time for everything but, that never seem to bother me when I was young. But as I get older I consider almost everything in time. It’s time to take my medicine, it’s time to go to the doctor, it’s time for this or time for that.

Time according to God. Ecclesiastes 3:1 thru 4 01/01/2016

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Where has the time gone? There is a time for everything but, that never seem to bother me when I was young. But as I get older I consider almost everything in time. It’s time to take my medicine, it’s time to go to the doctor, it’s time for this or time for that. One of the few things Brenda and I watch on TV is Shark Tank. It’s a program about Millionaires and Billionaires who deal with ordinary folks who have invented something that the Sharks can invest in. Many times the Sharks will invest and make the ordinary guy rich and of course the Shark (investor) millions of dollars. Mark Cuban the richest man on the panel is said to be worth almost 3 Billion dollars. That makes him one of the richest men in America. We have seen him not invest in a great idea because the inventor needed to build the company before it could make big money. So he has said many times…”That would take lots of time to get the company at the stage of being very profitable and my most valuable asset is time”…so he says “I’m out”…meaning, I’m not interested in spending that much time on one investment.

I have thought on God’s creation of time in the past few days and it’s really remarkable if you think on it. You may be thinking right now….well, Ronnie has really lost it because time has always been in our life. That’s right, time has always been in our fleshly life and it will until we past from this body to our spiritual body that God has waiting for us. But, I’m not sure God will have an eternal calendar and need for a watch in Heaven.

God’s creation of time works amazing here on earth. We can plan an appointment 5 years from Friday at 8am. But, sometimes we are late, early but rarely on the exact second.

Here is what I would like for you to think on. The Bible says in Psalm 93:2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. God is from everlasting and not time as we know it. Everything God does is in His time and it corresponds with our time but, I don’t think man can figure that one out either.

God stepped out of eternity at the exact moment, came to this earth as baby Jesus at the exact time and knowingly purpose to restore the relationship with mankind. His only purpose for being born in the flesh was to be the final sacrifice for your sins and mine. Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, ……What is the fullness of time? No one knows the answer to that except God. An answer would only be a guess for humans. God has given so graciously a time to repent, a time to believe on Him, a time to accept Him as Lord and Saviour. How about you? That clock of grace is still ticking as long as you are living in the flesh but, judgment waits in eternity for those who reject Him. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

I pray that each of you have a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year and may God bless you and yours.

Love in Christ Jesus, Ronnie Miller
