Throw Some Wood On The Fire
Contributed by David Radcliff on Nov 30, 2017 (message contributor)
Summary: When are people going to wake up and realize that just being a good moral person isn’t going to get you to heaven? We need a Spiritual Fire in our Churches, but we will never have it unless Someone Throws Some Wood on the Fire.
THROW SOME WOOD ON THE FIRE
Proverbs 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out
56% of U.S. adults now say it is not necessary to believe in God to be moral and have good values, up from 49% who expressed this view in 2011. This increase reflects the continued growth in the share of the population that has no religious affiliation, but it also is the result of changing attitudes among those who do identify with a religion, including white evangelical Protestants. Among white evangelical Protestants, 32% now say belief in God is not necessary to have good values and be a moral person, up from 26% who said this in
2011.
