To Jesus Christ the Lord "Grow Up Into Christ Who is the Head of the Church" (Ephesians 4:15)

To the Planting and Growing of Christ's Church "I will build my church" (Matthew 16:18)

To Christ's Great Commission"Go and make disciples of all nations"(Matthew 28:19,20)

Without a holistic understanding of our three essential commitments we run the danger of getting out of balance or becoming less than God wants us to be. Many profess a commitment to Jesus Christ, but fall short in their commitment to the planting, growing and serving of Christ's church. Without an evident commitment to both Christ and His church, people become introspective and complacent. Some exhibit a commitment to Christ and to His church, but fail to consistently demonstrate a commitment to Christ's great commission and consequently become content while 90% of the world is yet to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Still, others are committed to Christ and to His great commission, but fail to plant, grow and serve Christ's church. Sadly this group is not tapping into the power of Christ's promise to build a church that would work through the local church communities, cultures and individuals. Finally, some are committed to the church and to the great commission without really being totally committed to Christ's will for their lives in giving Him maximum glory for the sake of His kingdom and righteousness. (Matthew 6:33) Our commitment to Christ must be reflected in our commitment to the planting, growing and serving of His church and the accomplishing of His great commission. Synergistically these three commitments will save us from many mistakes and failure to live up to our potentials.
