1. David's Contentment - 57 Thou art my portion, O Lord:
His Covenant - I have said that
His Commitment - I would keep thy words.
His Search - 58 I intreated thy favour
His Sincerity - with my whole heart:
His Submission - be merciful unto me
His Subjection - according to thy word.
2. David's Contemplation - 59 I thought on my ways,
His Correction - and turned my feet
His Connection - unto thy testimonies.
His Respect - 60 I made haste,
His Response - and delayed not
His Resolve - to keep thy commandments.
3. David's Conflict - The Foe - 61 The bands of the wicked
The Fact - have robbed me:
The Focus - but I have not forgotten thy law.
It's Time - 62 At midnight
It's Test - I will rise
It's Triumph - to give thanks unto thee
It's Trust - because of thy righteous judgments.
4. David's Confldence In -
His Company - 63 I am a companion of all them
His Compliance - that fear thee,
His Commitment - and of them that keep thy precepts.
His Contentment In -
His Surroundings - 64 The earth,
His Sovereign - O Lord,
His Salvation - is full of thy mercy:
His Supervision - teach me thy statutes.
