Youth Sermon: This is Eternal Life

Introduction

Hey everyone! Today, we're going to talk about eternal life. But before we dive in, I want to show you something. [Hold up a puzzle piece] Check out this puzzle piece. On its own, it doesn't make much sense, right? But when it's connected to the other pieces, it becomes part of a beautiful picture. Keep this in mind as we explore what eternal life is all about.

What is Eternal Life?

So, what is eternal life? It's not just about living forever; it's about knowing God and Jesus Christ, the One He sent. It's about having a deep, personal relationship with them. And guess what? We can experience eternal life right now, not just in the future.

In John 17:1-11, Jesus talks about eternal life. He says that it's about knowing God and Jesus Christ, and it's a gift from God. It's also about being united with other believers, just like puzzle pieces coming together to form a beautiful picture.

Eternal life is not just about living forever; it's about knowing God and Jesus Christ, the One He sent.

Applying Eternal Life to Our Lives

Now, let's talk about how this applies to our lives. First, we need to ask ourselves if we truly know God and Jesus Christ, or if we just know about them. Are we experiencing the fullness of life that Jesus came to give us, or are we settling for a shallow, superficial existence?
