I remember walking into class and the teacher saying it was time to take the test more than 1 time I said what test?

Every time we get paid we take a test. The test is who do we thank who do we worship

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Mal 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, (ordinary)and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Mal 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Mal 3:9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Mal 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?

Mal 3:14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?

I want to help people. This will help Gods people.

1. Tithing is a test. are you going to believe that god can bless your 90% left over or will you do better with your 100%.

10 cents on every dollar. Why 10%? It is the same for everyone. It also represents testing

10 plagues in Egypt he tested pharaohs resolve and israel’s faith

10 commandments tested his people

God tested Israel 10 times in thewilderness

Laban changed Jacobs wages 10 times

10 virgins tested in Mathew 25

Sharack mesheck and Abednego were tested 10 days with their diet

How many disciples were there 12 just testing you

Giving is a test of the heart. And testing in giving is something we can do to God

We are already under a curse (affliction of evil for actions) we are born into one. Some would say but when I was saved I was set free from all curses.

Let me ask this as saved folk can we live any way we want to and not suffer?

Another argument people use is tithing was under the law. So if it was wrong under the law it is righ

Now? Kill steal adultery? There is consequences.

By the way tithing was way before the law and after the law. It was ordinary for Gods people to worship and honor god with their finances.

2. Tithing is biblical

Some think this is some crafty cool preacher trick to get rich or they think there is only 1 scripture for tithing/giving.

Gen 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

Gen 14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

Gen 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

500 years before the law was given

2500 years before the law abel gave his best to thelord and was honored by god. Cain gave a less than offering

400 years before the law Gen 28:22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

Lev 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy (set apart) unto the LORD.

Deu 26:1 And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;

Deu 26:2 That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.
