VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. The LORD JESUS CHRIST always tells the truth

"I tell you the truth"

1. Verily or truly came from the Greek word:"amen" meaning properly firm, trustworthy, surely, amen, verily

2. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST is truer than Truth because He is the Truth. Truth itself comes to Him for advises. One of CHRIST's Name is Amen! CHRIST is not only Truth, He's also full of Grace and Full of Truth. CHRIST is also GOD therefore Creator of Truth

John 14:6 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

2 Corinthians 1:20 (New International Version)

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.

John 1:14 (New International Version)

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:17 (New International Version)

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Numbers 23:19 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

B. This Generation will not pass

"this generation will not pass from the scene"

1. Generation came from the Greek word:"genea" meaning the age, the period or the persons, nation, time

a. Generation is either pertaining to human race age, nation's age, or a period where all human race exists.

So whenever you watch a futuristic movie and you see destruction of humans before aliens, it won't happen simply because GOD ALMIGHTY will not allow the destruction of the human race by any other means but only by His Means before He returns in Second Coming. In other words, Second Coming will take place in the age of the humans. Before in the time of Noah, it was the great flood now it's going to be fire and not water. So when a great tornado or typhoon comes to destroy our country, relax, the news isn't right anyway, the earth will be destroyed by fire not by water anymore, have peace, because it's not the end of the world when it floods.

2 Peter 3:10 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

2 Peter 3:12 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames.

Isaiah 51:6 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Look up to the skies above, and gaze down on the earth below. For the skies will disappear like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a piece of clothing. The people of the earth will die like flies, but my salvation lasts forever. My righteous rule will never end!

Nahum 1:5 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

In his presence the mountains quake, and the hills melt away; the earth trembles, and its people are destroyed.

C. Before all signs of my Second Coming

"before all these things take place."
