VIII. MAIN BODY:

Paradise or Eden symbolizes the "will of GOD" The will of GOD is all plants/herbs/vegetables as "meat" (food to be consumed) by Adam and Eve are already provided and if they're going to get fair sky, which is irrelevant for them because they are perfect, bdellium or put fragrance in their bodies, and get onyx stones or precious stones for themselves, they are already OUT of the will of GOD. But now they are fallen, of course, these are the things they desire for themselves. Remember, Adam and Eve are clothed with the "shekinah glory" of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY that is the LORD JESUS CHRIST and they don't need these things in their perfect state.

A. Things outside of paradise:

(according to their Hebrew meaning)

1. gold - symbolizes fair weather, clear sky

2. bdellium - symbolizes perfume or a fragrance put in body

3. onyx stones - symbolizes precious stones

1. Gold

We are the gold that needs to be refined by the LORD.

Malachi 3:3 (Amplified Bible)

He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

Gold is "wealth of the heathen" something that they need to pray for everyday, to have fair sky, clear sky above their heads, but we already have these, but after the fall, we need to pray for our daily bread.

Zechariah 14:14 (Amplified Bible)

And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem, and the wealth of all the nations round about shall be gathered together—gold and silver and apparel in great abundance.

Remember, even gold's color fades away but GOD's WORD never fails.

Lamentations 4:1 (Amplified Bible)

HOW THE gold has become dim! How the most pure gold has changed! The hallowed stones [of the temple] are poured out at the head of every street.

Mark 13:31 (Amplified Bible)

Heaven and earth will perish and pass away, but My words will not perish or pass away.

Gold is adorned here as clothing, as precious stones but in Heaven, it's just an ingredient for the streets.

Revelation 21:21 (Amplified Bible)

And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each separate gate being built of one solid pearl. And the main street (the broadway) of the city was of gold as pure and translucent as glass.

Something that is sought after here on earth is just stepped on in heaven.

We are already glorious in the LORD JESUS and clothed with the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Job 40:10 (Amplified Bible)

[Since you question the manner of the Almighty’s rule] deck yourself now with the excellency and dignity [of the Supreme Ruler, and yourself undertake the government of the world if you are so wise], and array yourself with honor and majesty.

Romans 13:14 (Amplified Bible)

But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts).

2. Bdellium - perfume

We are the sweet fragrance of GOD.

2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (Amplified Bible)

But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere,

For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:
