Hebrews 4:5 (Amplified Bible)

4:5 And [they forfeited their part in it, for] in this [passage] He said, They shall not enter My rest.

I use GOD's Faith to activate GOD's Rest in my life.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. They forfeited their rest

"And [they forfeited their part in it, for]"

Psalms 95:10-11 (Amplified Bible)

95:10 Forty years long was I grieved and disgusted with that generation, and I said, It is a people that do err in their hearts, and they do not approve, acknowledge, or regard My ways.

95:11 Wherefore I swore in My wrath that they would not enter My rest [the land of promise].

This promise is now applicable to unbelievers for in the end as we can see GOD's Mercies is He permitted Israel to know Him again.

Romans 11:26 (Amplified Bible)

11:26 And so all Israel will be saved. As it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will banish ungodliness from Jacob.

Isaiah 59:20-21 (Amplified Bible)

59:20 He shall come as a Redeemer to Zion and to those in Jacob (Israel) who turn from transgression, says the Lord.

59:21 As for Me, this is My covenant or league with them, says the Lord: My Spirit, Who is upon you [and Who writes the law of God inwardly on the heart], and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouths of your [true, spiritual] children, or out of the mouths of your children’s children, says the Lord, from henceforth and forever.

But a dispensation of the Gentiles are coming in, counted and until a certain number have been saved, then Israel will be saved again and Apostle Paul's prayer will be answered. It's a dispensation of GOD's Grace, according to Apostle Paul.

Romans 10:1 (Amplified Bible)

10:1 BRETHREN, [with all] my heart’s desire and goodwill for [Israel], I long and pray to God that they may be saved.

Ephesians 3:2 (New King James Version)

3:2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,

GOD's rest is different from our rest. We take in GOD's Faith.

3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the FAITH OF GOD without effect?

It's a GODly faith not just human faith that fails afterwards.
