Summary: The blood of Jesus has power, whenever we talk about the blood of Jesus, we should know that it's not an ordinary blood we are talking about.
The power in the blood of Jesus is not an ordinary topic. The power in the blood of Jesus is not something that we can just speak about and not realise the power in the blood of the Lamb. Jesus came to shed his own blood for us all on the cross on that day. The power in his blood was poured out for us all, the blood of Jesus is so powerful that we know that the blood of Jesus alone can bring principalities and powers to nothing when used the right way.
The blood of Jesus that was poured out even before he went on the cross, was very powerful. In the garden of Gethsemane - Matthew 26: 36-56; Mark 14:32 - 50; Luke 22: 39-53 and in the book of John 18: 1 -12, we can see in these verses how the blood of Jesus was shed in prayers about what Jesus was about to go through.
The blood of Jesus was poured out from the garden on that day, Jesus was simply praying that the will of God was to be done, and he was actually surrendering to the will and purpose of God for his life, and the bible records that he prayed so earnestly that his sweats became like drops of blood from this forehead.
The sweat was no ordinary sweats it was actually the blood of Jesus that flowed on that day. His blood was being poured out from the time that Judas who was to betray him, came to give Jesus a kiss, it was before then as Jesus was praying that his blood started flowing.
The blood of Jesus that was coming out of Jesus was not the blood of an ordinary man, it was the blood of Jesus the Son of God that flowed on that fateful day, it was the blood of the Lamb that flowed on that day, it was the sinless blood of Jesus that flowed on that day, it was the blood of Jesus that lived and served mankind that flowed on that day, it was not the blood of an animal that flowed on that day, it was the blood of Jesus himself that came to redeem us from the hands of the wicked ones that flowed on that day.
The blood of Jesus is not the blood of an animal. It was the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that was poured out on that day that flowed for us all. The blood of Jesus is not an ordinary blood; we should not ever assume that the blood of Jesus can be compared to the blood of an animal, it is not comparable, and we cannot even think that his blood can be compared to an ordinary man's blood, it cannot be compared to any man's blood. The blood of Jesus can never be compared to any man's blood.
Therefore, when we are talking about the blood of Jesus, we are to realise that it's not an ordinary blood we are talking about. It's about the blood of the Son of God. The blood that was shed to deliver us all from the hands of Satan and all his wicked ways. The blood of Jesus was poured out for us all, so that we can be free from all the wicked ways of the enemies.
The blood of Jesus that was poured out on that day was to help us to live a life that is free from all the wicked ways of the enemy. The blood was poured out to help us live a life of holiness to the Lord, He said we are to be Holy as he was Holy - 1 Peter 1:16; Leviticus 11:45.
The blood was poured out for us to be free from the plans and the purpose of the enemies' in our lives, if the enemy had their way, we would not be where we are today in our lives, I would have died a very long time ago, but the blood protected me from all the evil plans of the wicked ones in several ways.
The blood was poured out to free or save us from sin, we were and are all sinners. But the blood of Jesus cleanses us all from our sin - Hebrews 9:22; Romans 5:9; and 1 John 1:7.
The blood of Jesus cries out better things than the blood of Abel ever did. The blood of Abel was crying out vengeance against his brother that killed him on that day, on cain because of this the blood of Jesus now cries out mercy on behalf of us the children of God that fall short of God's mercy and forgiveness - Hebrews 12:24.
The blood of Jesus is living and not an ordinary blood like we said. The blood of Jesus has been shed to save us from the hands of the evil one - Satan. The blood of Jesus was shed to free us from the wicked ways of any form of evil. There are so many evils around us these days, it's only by using the blood of Jesus that we can be free from such atrocities and by believing in the blood of Jesus we can be free from such evil.
