There Is A Better Life

There’s A Better Life Ephesians 4:25-5:2

1. Paul tells the folks in Ephesus’s there is a better Life

• He says, “Take off falsehood” the lies you tell yourself. We say, “ I am as good as anybody else if they go to heaven so will I”. The better way is speak truthfully , be honest in all things

• Don’t be angry there is a better way calm down and let God arise : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold

• Don’t be unfaithful but be faithful it’s the better way

• Pray the more you pray prayer becomes normal part of life

• Attend the places of presences(Church, Bible studies, revivals,) attendance at church the more church becomes Church

2. Paul tells those folks in Ephesus the Better Life is Letting God Arise when anger arises. Vs 26 "Be angry and sin not and do not let the sun come down upon your wrath"

• Paul wants the believers to use useful words such as words that express value, that express that one is a benefit, one is worthwhile.

• Paul writes, 29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. vs 31 Let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away form you, with all malice\

• Paul tells us there is a better way use Words that are not corrupt, Use words that edify, Use words that minister grace to the hearer

3. Paul says Don’t be a follower of the worldly stuff there is a better Life be a follower of God

• Be imitators of God, live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave him-self up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

• The Better way is Follow God Because Eph 21 you were dead in your transgressions and sins, We once, craved the sinful nature and we Followed its desires and thoughts continually. 4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved

4. My friends There is a better life take off any falsehoods, anger, unwholesome talk and put on The Truth, Prayer, Presences of God, God Risings, The Better Life is all in for Jesus

• The Better Life puts on faith

• Heb 11. 6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who

• The Better Life is an example to your friends so they might see the Christ in you

• Four friends brought their friend on a mat and let him down where Jesus was They had faith in Jesus

• The Better Life teaches Your Family

• Gen 35: Jacob told his family Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, "Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes. 3Then come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and who has been with me wherever I have gone."

• The Better Life offers one a wonderful glorious future

• Psalm 37:37Consider the blameless, observe the upright; there is a future B for the man of peace.

• Psalm 44: 25Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, you have a future

• Jeremiah 2911For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

• Remember there’s a better life there's a better life If you've got pain, He's a pain taker If you feel lost, He's a way maker If you need freedom or saving He's a prison-shaking Savior If you got chains, He's a chain breaker. Jesus, He’s a Better Life! AMEN!
