Summary: God in all of His Glory can dwell among humans. You don’t have to be perfect for God and His Glory to dwell with you. Your current outward situations have no effect (do not affect) on God's glory.
God in all of His Glory can dwell among humans. You don’t have to be perfect for God and His Glory to dwell with you. Your current outward situations have no effect (do not affect) on God's glory. You can be living in a foreign land, as slaves, or in difficult circumstances, yet God's Glory can still live among you. Your external situations don’t effect God and His Glory. Ezekiel was living as a captive in a foreign land near Chebar river, yet God came in all His Glory.
You can never prepare or become a place for God’s Glory with your own strength. Its only by divine help or touch you can become a place where God comes in all His Glory. You are never perfect or Holy, but you were made perfect by the divine touch of God which enables you see the visions of God. Perhaps Ezekiel would not have seen the vision in Chapter 1 if the hand of God had not touched him.
The hand of God enabled him to see God's physical open visions. Open visions are the visions seen with physical eyes in the outside world. How can Ezekiel see something supersonic and very inflammable vision with his physical eyes? God's hand enabled him to see it. What is impossible with human strength becomes possible with divine touch. Ezekiel's eyes could see physical visions, supersonic angels, and withstand the weight of God's Glory because God's hand was upon him.
Today, if God's hand is upon you, you can see open visions, withstand God's Glory, and see the movement of supersonic angels. From seeing glimpses of God’s Glory to living completely in God’s Glory is the theme of book of Ezekiel. When the son of God is seen in God’s presence, that visitation or encounter is God’s Glory. The centre piece of God’s Glory is Jesus.
Ezekiel started his career in chapter one with seeing a powerful vision in which he saw God as a man on the throne. God as a man on the throne was Jesus on the throne. Ezekiel saw Jesus on the throne. Jesus will take his rightful place on the throne after the end times and the beginning of millennium. Seeing Jesus on the throne represents millennial understanding of God and Ezekiel was given this understanding of God.
All prophets of the Bible saw the future ahead, but here was Ezekiel who was in future, from a millennial perspective, began to speak about Jesus. He started with millennial understanding and progressed into many future era’s understandings of God. This book contains secrets of the millennium and era’s after millennium.
This book describes a new heaven and kingdom in which living God dwells with humans in all His Glory. He describes that God is preparing a place where humans can live with Him in all His Glory.
The book started with a glimpse or vision of God's glory and concluded with living or dwelling in God’s Glory. Ezekiel saw God's Glory- God's Glory entering and leaving the temple, and at the end of the book, living in God's Glory. He started with a glimpse or sight of God’s Glory – Jesus on the throne. When people talk about God's Glory without mentioning Jesus, it is difficult to understand and comprehend. When people talk about God's Glory with Jesus as the focal point, it is true Glory. These days, many people preach about God's glory and angels but rarely mention Jesus; don’t believe them.
The radiance and brightness of Jesus giving life is God’s Glory. If you see angels or supernatural things without seeing Jesus or his nature, you are not witnessing God's glory. God’s Glory and Jesus can never be separated. Ezekiel saw Jesus in God’s Glory. Ezekiel saw Jesus as God’s Glory. What are you seeing and saying about God’s Glory? It’s not a cloud dust experience seeing angels, it is seeing Jesus.
Ezekiel began his career by a fresh revelation of Jesus – seeing Jesus on the throne. Everything new in our life begins with a fresh revelation of Jesus, and this revelation creates a future shaping our destiny and vision. Did you receive a new revelation of Jesus? Pray to God for a fresh revelation of Jesus. The greatest miracle you need is a fresh revelation of Jesus that gives answers to all of your questions and creates a future. When God wants to do a new thing, he starts it with a fresh revelation of Jesus, which provides hope and a future that shapes our vision and answers all of our questions.
