Summary: It doesn’t matter what denomination you are: Dry is Dry, let’s quit arguing over non-essentials and get to the heart of the matter (we need revival).

*Hand of the Lord upon me: This means taught, led, guided, protected, empowered, (it is a wonderful thing to know Gods hand is on your life.

*Carried out in the Spirit: If we are going to see the glory of God revealed we are going to have to get out of the flesh realm over into the spirit realm.

*Set me down in the midst of a valley full of bones

( One of the biggest problems we have as Christians today is, We have forgotten about the cross). We want everything to be for our enjoyment.

*Everything in life isn’t about you, sometimes God will put you in uncomfortable places so his power in you can change the atmosphere.

*They were very Dry.

Dry: a primitive root; to be ashamed, confused or disappointed; also (as failing) to dry up (as water) or wither (as herbage) be confounded, utterly, wither (away).

*Very Dry = A condition that has existed for a long time

The common denominator here is Bones.

Not Pcg. Bones. Baptist, Methodist, Charismatic, (Not Rich bones, or Poor Bones, not fat bones. Or skinny bones, Not Black bones or white Bones, Red bones, yellow bones. Just bones.

*These bones had 2 things in common

#1 They were bones #2 They were very dry.

Oh ye dry bones Hear the Word of the Lord.

There comes a time when we have to face the truth. If we’re dry we’re dry. It doesn’t matter what denomination you are. Dry is Dry. A dry pentecostal bone is no different than a dry baptist bone, or a methodist from a presbyterian etc. black or white, rich or poor.

Can these bones live ?

From this I hear God saying, Never say Never. It may look hopeless to you, but as long as there is a God in heaven there is hope.

Ezek. Recognizes that truth by saying: Lord God thou knowest.

Listen to Gods solution:

#1 Absolute honesty: O ye dry bones. If your bound you’re bound, etc.

#2 Hear the Word of the Lord.

Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

God begins to unfold his plan for total resurrection, and restoration.

God wants you to know, he has a plan for resurrecting and restoring, everything that the enemy has stolen from you.

Verse 10 tells what God’s ultimate goal and plan for them was.

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Notice that God’s plan was to build and army, not just to resurrect them, not just to restore them, but to empower them, and equip them to fight.

Finally notice that this plan required, a unifying, a uniting, a putting back together.

In fact: There was no breath = spirit, life, or power breathed into them, until first the(bones began to come together,)

John 13:35

35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 17:22

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

The greatest victory satan ever gained was to bring division into the church, divide the body of Christ,

( To get us fussin over non essentials.) to get our attention focused on peoples, social status. Or their race, or color,)or baptisms, or whether we speak in tongues or not).

I am going to preach the Word of God, The Word of God, that calls the Power of the Holy Spirit into the Church, And that same Word is the word that destroys, anything that causes strife, division, and contention in the body of Christ.

There is an anointing that God wants to bring to this church, you and I as individuals. And to this town, and the many churches in it.. But it will not come until we are ready to see each other through the blood of Jesus Christ.

I don’t care whether you speak in tongues or not. Shout or not. Dance or not.

I don’t care whether your baptized in Jesus name or the name of the Father son and Holy GhostY..(As long as your first Baptism was in the blood of Jesus Christ.) And your faith is in him, and not in some ceremony or ritual or routine.

I don’t care if you wear a robe, or a collar, or a 10 lb. Cross around your neck.

If you’ve come by way of calvary, through the shed blood of Jesus Christ then you are my brother, or my sister

I am a Pentecostal, HolyGhost tongue talking, bible thumpin, pew jumpin, isle runnin, believer. But that doesn’t I am the only one in this town who is going to heaven. It probably means I’m having more fun than a lot of other folks, but that’s not the issue.
